Country Manager (Solar Energy Market)

A Global organization of equipment for the solar energy market starting their operation in Brazil.
Job description

Lead the Operation in Brazil including Warehouse/Factory,
Lead Cross functional team in Brazil. With Matrix reporting to functional leaders in Head Quarters,
Lead development on organization in Brazil covering all the functions,
Maintain constant communication with vendors, suppliers, third party service providers and customer to ensure the proper operations of the company in the region,
Ensure compliance to local labor, tax and other laws in Brazil,
Vendor assessment to suppliers. Support in the evaluation and selection of subcontractors and vendors,
Oversee project management tasks directly related to assigned projects. Analyses the daily and weekly reports and supports the team in analysing and integrating in the master project schedule the weekly delivery schedules and the weekly construction rates,
Prioritize various requests received from customers and work cross functionally with teams internally to seek resolutions,
Detect and report contractual risks in Project Execution, taking responsibility for the analysis, implementation and monitoring of possible mitigation or elimination measures,
Travel for key customer visits and construction site visits.
Requirement Profile - Knowledge, Skills Experiences

Bachelor degree,
Experience in operational role, Prior solar energy experience,
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access),
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written,
Strong client service skills,
Excellent time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks,
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills,
Adaptable and eager to learn, self-starter who is willing to wear multiple hats to accomplish goals and can work independently w/o supervision once trained,
Team-oriented,
Someone who thinks outside the box and brings new ideas,
Thrives in a fast-paced environment,
Highly organized and detail-oriented,
Bilingual English speaking skills strongly preferred.
